Online Abstract Submission
Online submission of Abstracts is now closed
Online abstract submission is now closed for free communication sessions (oral and poster presentation sessions) to be presented at the 45th Union World Conference on Lung Health.
The Union was particularly interested in attracting abstracts on the following broad topics: the latest development in the inter-related fights against tuberculosis, HIV, lung disease and non-communicable diseases, as well as the global campaign for tobacco control.
The deadline for submission was Friday, 25 April 2014.
A panel of international experts will review all abstracts submitted for the 2014 World Conference, and the Scientific Programme Committee will allocate accepted abstracts to an oral or poster session. All authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by the end of June 2014. Selected abstracts will be included in the Abstract Book of the conference as a supplement to the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IJTLD).
This year The Union once again offered the Abstract Mentor Programme to encourage the participation of young and/or less experienced investigators from low-resource settings. The Abstract Mentor Programme is designed for those who intend to submit an abstract for presentation and who lack access to opportunities for mentoring in research and writing. Using this programme, authors are able to ask for feedback from experienced researchers before proceeding with the online submission of their papers.
